This swag is a continuous piece of fabric that is notched at each bracket to allow the fabric to drape into and swag beautifully. A beaded fringe was added along the inside edge to sparkle in the sunlight.
The custom drapery panel is attached to the brackets on the wall with tabs, allowing the fabric to swag slightly. It is gracefully tied back and puddled on the floor.
Here we have a button back valance which is an inverted pleated valance with contrast fabric inside each pleat.
This swag, called a french pick up swag has been cut out along the top and hung on a black cornice to allow the black contrast fabric to show through.
These inverted pleated valances are hung inside the molding to cover up the privacy blinds.
A london shade is a tailored balloon with one or more pleats along the top of the treatment to give it the fullness needed. Strings are drawn up vertically along the pleats which allows for the classic, full shape. The beautiful design/motif on this fabric is not lost in this london shade.
