Welcome to my showcase of design ideas and inspiration for custom home décor, flattering window treatments and other soft furnishings. I have been blessed by being invited into many beautiful homes and meeting the nicest people. I am among the fortunate few who truly enjoy a fulfilling and rewarding profession. Thank you for looking at my work.

Drapery panels are a wonderful addition to a two story room, they are a great way to bring your eye up to the ceiling.  You’ve paid for this great room why not show it off.  Here, drapery panels are shirred on a rod then banded with a contrast fabric.  The banding cinches the drape near the top of the window keeping them in check and allowing for maximum light to shine thru.

Simple yet elegant.

A room with a view – sit and relax with your favorite book on this custom made window seat.  A perfect little nook for getting away from the everyday bustle. Coordinating fabrics were used to create this button back valance, from the crisp contemporary floral print to the stripes peeking through the button back pleats.   This button back valance  was hung at the crown molding adding many inches to the height of the window. A window seat, using the same striped fabric that is found inside the pleats and some coordinating bolsters add to the finishing touch.  A lovely nook.

I just had fun catching up on your last few blog posts. Great job! I love that awning in the laundry room. And the little pup perch is pretty adorable.
