Welcome to my showcase of design ideas and inspiration for custom home décor, flattering window treatments and other soft furnishings. I have been blessed by being invited into many beautiful homes and meeting the nicest people. I am among the fortunate few who truly enjoy a fulfilling and rewarding profession. Thank you for looking at my work.

A Sheffield valance was created in this corner kitchen window.   There was only but three or four inches of wall space on either side of each window to the corner and by the time the dust board was mounted there was no room at all.  Hence we created a cohesive look and made the valance all one piece strategically placing the pleats at the center of each window and another in the corner.
The contrast trim adds a nice touch basically outlining the Sheffield valance and giving it definition. The same sheffield valance was installed over the door to create a unified look.

swag

This kitchen has a lot of windows and we wanted to keep as much light as possible coming in. These swags were hung above the doorwall, just covering a small portion of the transom window.  We then added a coordinating balloon valance above the sink.  Contrast striped ties gather up the fabric at strategic points along the windows.

These are some of the best window ideas I’ve seen and I’m blurry-eyed from looking at google images! I have a two window with a door problem I’m working to solve and I really like the drapery with the over/under swag treatment.

    Thanks for sharing!
