This canopy cover was custom made to fit the bed. It requires approximately 8 yards of fabric and is attached to the canopy through button holes in each corner where the finials screw into the bedposts. It is made much the same way you would make a dust ruffle. If you send me your measurements, I would be happy to walk you through making it yourself or give you a quote on making it for you.
    Thanks,
    Susan

Where can I find a canopy like this? I have a full size canopy bed. Thanks!

Hi Cherie, This canopy cover was custom made to fit the twin bed. It is made much the same way you would make a dust ruffle or bed skirt and is attached to the canopy with button holes at each post. To prevent sagging on a full size bed or larger, hook and loop tape might have to be used as well. If you send me your measurements, I would be happy to walk you through making it yourself or give you a quote on making it for you.
    Thanks,
    Susan

I’m getting a full sized canopy bed in 6 weeks. The bed is on order and I can’t send exact measurements. I would like a quote on a canopy bed cover similar to the one shown above. I would like a light-weight patterned fabric in blue. Can you email me sample fabric along with the quote.
    Thanks,
    Mariwynne

I am having to make a canopy for my granddaughter’s arched canopy twin bed. Could you tell me what the instructions are?

  • Susan DorbeckJuly 6, 2022 - 9:05 am

Hi Ellen, To make a canopy is much the same as making a ruffled bed skirt, only with 4 sides. It can be attached with buttonholes at each bedpost and sticky Velcro on the sides.

Would like info on prices of covers for a full length, curved top canopy bed in tailored styles. Gathered fabric also good. 850 875 3615. Sandra Gee, thank you!

A frantic call came in recently.  I had just installed some beautiful 2 story drapery panels and the homeowner was in a panic.  Her 3 year old daughter had just discovered scissors and was quietly doing her crafts.  “Quietly” is the key word here.  She used her child safety scissors, you know the ones with the rounded ends, and cut a perfect – I mean perfect – 3″ diameter hole just a foot and a half off the floor.  A good 3 year old height.  Could I please help, was there anything I could do?

A patch was out of the question, it was such a tiny check that it could not be matched.  I was able to help though.  I cut the panel from top to bottom right where the middle of the hole was then ran a seam all the way up.  We lost about 4″ in the width of the drapes but no one was the wiser and they looked like new again.

Everyone was happy once again and the craft table was moved to the other end of the room far away from the drapes.
