Bathroom, a place for conscious design

A bathroom is no longer just a utility room, it has become a status symbol in most of our homes today and a place for conscious design.
While function and efficiency is key in your bathroom, luxury and style play an important role as well.

Even if the window is filled with opaque glass or a permanent blind for privacy,
some sort of dressing may be useful to provide a balance to the hard and shiny surfaces which abound in a bathroom.
Fabric choices must be carefully made for a bathroom to withstand the damp, steam and extreme temperature conditions.  For example, heavy wools can retain moisture and delicate silks can easily tear and stain when wet.  Of course the best fabric for curtains in this environment is cotton.

A superbly simple treatment designed to please the eye.  Inverted box pleats adorn both the window and the sink in a beautiful yellow print.  The fabric color is toned to pick up the color of the tile.  Both of these treatments are attached with hook and loop tape for ease of use and cleaning.
