Bring your draperies up to the second story and you won’t be disappointed. When you hang draperies down too low (ie the first floor windows) you loose the fact that you have these tall ceilings. And that’s what you paid for isn’t it? Privacy and sun control was taken care of with the horizontal blinds and the stationary drapery panels add softness to the room. A more modern inverted box pleat was used on the header of the draperies. Since there was only a few inches on the outside edges of the windows, the rod was butted up against the side wall and a simple end cap was used. Now the drapes bring your eyes up and out to see those beautiful trees and mother nature at her glory.
