White, although not considered a color, can be a great choice in your fabric color selection. By using a shade of white for the fabric in this stagecoach valance, your eye is drawn to the accent in this room, the ceramic three dimensional vegetables hung on the soffit wall. The white fabric is echoed in the color of the 2″ horizontal blinds and the cabinets. A striped fabric cut on the bias is used to make the accent bands and add the perfect touch of subtle color. The combination of the two fabrics is enough to soften the window and the horizontal blinds yet allow the artwork to shine through.
