So often we have these odd shaped windows that are so charming, but what do we do with them? This powder room has a wonderful octagon (eight sided) window but it was lost in the room and provided no privacy when needed. A soft london shade was mounted to the wall just below the ceiling adding height to the window. This balloon shade whose soft pleat is understated and therefore does not interfere with the presentation of the pattern, is perfect for this window.

I have two octagon shaped windows that are very large. I want to mount something inside in order to show off the deep sills and be able to use the sills cuz they’re very deep. I am stumped. The window dimensions inside mount are 96 wide by 36 length. Any suggestions? I know the size sounds odd but the windows are in a remodeled old American legion and the new owner made great apartments but kept these windows.
