When dressing your bay window the secret is to look at the window as a whole and not as a series of separate elements. We dressed this living room bay window with a cornice. In this case we chose a straight cornice and highlighted the pattern of the fabric. It was then hung just under the crown moulding adding a few inches to the length of the window.
