You’ve heard the saying “Out with the old and in with the new”, well I’d like to put a twist on these words for 2010. Take your old and redesign.
Your drapery panels already coordinate with your room so turn them into a valance or cornice. Make some toss pillows with them or reupholster your favorite accent chair. Rearrange your furniture, not only from within the room but throughout the house. Change a lampshade or add a rug, move your pictures and art objects around. With just a few changes and little or no money your home can bring in the new year with style.
